7 Signs You're Not Ready for Public Speaking Training.

Here’s my core belief:
Anyone can become a confident speaker.
Really.
I see it happen every week — people transform from dreading the spotlight to actually enjoying it. But I need to be honest about something…
Not everyone is ready for that journey, and our training isn’t the right fit for everyone. And you know what? That’s perfectly fine!
Let me share 7 signs that our training might not be your best choice right now:

1. You're missing your 'why'
Our most successful clients have clear reasons for improving their communication skills — they need to lead teams, pitch ideas, influence their industry, or deliver powerful presentations. If public speaking isn’t relevant to your current goals (or future plans), this might not be your time.
2. You're comfortable staying comfortable
While many of our clients start out nervous, introverted, or inexperienced (totally fine!), they all share one thing: a burning ambition to become confident communicators. If you’re not hungry to learn, improve, and stretch beyond your comfort zone, we might not be your best match.
3. You prefer gentle pats to honest feedback
A good coach is both supportive, and honest. That means celebrating your wins, encouraging you to think bigger, and crucially — providing the constructive feedback you need to rapidly improve. If you’re looking for pure encouragement without a bit of tough love, this isn’t your path!
4. You're wavering on commitment
Fear has a sneaky way of creating excuses, doesn’t it? I can give you the structure, support, and guidance to transform your public speaking skills in record time. But it’s going to take some commitment.
If you’re likely to skip sessions, lose interest, or dodge opportunities rather than diving in, ask yourself: How committed am I to making this change?
5. You're shopping for bargains
There are plenty of good low-cost options out there. Our training is a premium service for professionals and business leaders — giving you personalised training, a proven system to follow, and an expert coach who’s in your corner along the way. If you’re looking for quick fixes or budget options, we’re probably not the right fit.
6. You see public speaking as just a hobby
Believe it or not, there are lots of public speaking hobbyists! If you’re interested in casual speaking practice, I’d recommend local groups or Toastmasters. Our training is designed for people who want to enjoy speaking — but also leverage it professionally to build their business, brand, or career.
